I’m Darcy Laycock – a web application developer from the beautiful by quiet city of Perth, Western Australia.

Currently I’m a student at the lovely University of Western Australia working towards my BCompSci in the School of Computer Science & Software Engineering and I’m also working with fantastic team over at Filter Squad.

When I’m not working or at uni (which is most of the time), I’m usually working on any number of projects and writing lots of open source code.

I’m an active participant in our local ruby on rails usergroup and I’m also one of the organisers of the annual Rails Rumble programming competition for ruby-based web developers.
